At VARTA, we like to promote crops into circular, natural extracts. After all, plants have not only decorative value, but also functional and even medical power. To make optimal use of these so-called dual-purpose plants, VARTA joined forces with Aromed+ and SOM tales of perfume. That contact came about thanks to REWIN.
The purpose of this collaboration was to research, design and produce personal care products. Five different variants were eventually launched under the FORTe brand. The products strengthen and support resistance and also release a pleasant aroma.

A unique collaboration that combines forces
By bringing the three unique companies together, they are looking at the power of contents of different plants from three perspectives.
VARTA’s perspective is to give flowers and plants that don’t appear in stores a second purpose. In doing so, we are researching how to make extracts and what the active ingredients are in different crops.
Aromed+ is the manufacturer of FORTe. With their years of experience in personal care products, they were immediately open to further expansion and cooperation.

The strength of Dutch soil
FORTe’s natural products contain three Dutch herbs, each of which has its own effects on health.
The lemon verbena provides a fresh fragrance. In addition, it has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect. The mint also provides a subtle, pleasant and slightly sweet aroma. It provides a soft skin and feels refreshing. Moreover, it has an anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect. Laurel also gives a sweet, pleasant fragrance. So these three ingredients are the perfect combination for a product line that provides security and strength.
